Zero Waste Bathroom

Creating zero waste in your bathroom is easier than expected. I have been buying more natural products that support better waste movements such as plastic bottles that can be recycled and chemical free ingredients. What I would like to purchase for a better bathroom is safety razors that are reusable and better than the disposable razors, that seem to be thrown out weekly. I still have a lot of floss and Q-tips left over but will soon rid of those in exchange for better bio-degradable items. I am also thinking about THINX underwear for a sustainable solution for my period. Once I purchase these items I will post a review on each to see if they are fix for a zero waste bathroom.

I have been pondering on making my bathroom needs such as shampoo, lotion, or body wash. So I did make a homemade body wash. I used

1 cup Castille Soap

3 tbsp Coconut/olive Oil

20 drops of essential oil

The only problem I faced was that the soap leaves a dry film feeling on my skin. I feel that I can could buy something better than I could make but of course will try other recipes to see if I can get it right. As I have a flux of castille soap and coconut oil.
