Long list of the day, No matter how hard I try
Hard to change my ways, No matter how hard I cry
Tired of the pain, All alone to die
I can’t stop this rain, Always safe inside
Don’t bother to ask
I can’t walk tonight, meet you there in the morning
Unto my soul sunrise, slowly dissipating
I can’t lift my feet up off the ground
Let me rest my head from this crown
Don’t wait up, cause I can’t walk tonight
One step at a time, I hope I don’t fall
One breath in and out, please let me crawl
I can’t hold this weight, crumbling deep inside
Tired of the shame, guilt is on the rise
Don’t bother to ask
I can’t walk tonight, meet you there in the morning
Unto my soul sunrise, slowly dissipating
I can’t lift my feet up off the ground
Let me rest my head from this crown
Don’t wait up, cause I can’t walk tonight

This song was written early 2020. A time where walking and doing simple task became hard and frustrating. This was such a blow to my ego. I had to release all expectations and drop everything that I once was, into something new. Quietly suffering with a smile; this is my life now.
